Partnership with Jane’s Place

In 2021, the Chaffee County Community Foundation and the Chaffee Housing Authority (CHA) invited Achieve to expand its job skills and work force development programming into Jane’s Place (an innovative transitional housing project in Salida, Colorado) by developing a social enterprise similar to Little Engine Eatery. That enterprise will be a year-round coffee shop, allowing Achieve to reach twice as many participants each year.

With the expansion of programming into Jane's Place, Achieve has been working closely with CHA which now owns the development.

We are hopeful that operations will begin in late 2024 or early 2025. We are in the process of a capital campaign to finance this expansion.
